For this tour, Orlando was the first city I visited. I had never taught in the city before and to be honest, I am always a bit nervous teaching somewhere new (will you like me? will you think I'm too goofy? If I slip into my accent will you understand? If the choreography is too hard will you give up? ) So many questions each time. I reached out to Timeless Rhythm a week or two before to set things up because well, it was a bit of a spontaneous thing. Yet now, there was no backing out! So I learned to do things scared and take it a moment at a time.

There were just 11 of you, but the love in that room filled every crevice (I pay special attention to people who laugh at my jokes!) You were willing to take me for what I was, a dancing goofball! I love how honest you were, and you were willing to tell me when things made sense and when they didn't. You taught me to be a better teacher and I love you for that. I drove an hour and a half to get to and from the class that day, and I even had to go through a storm and park my rental on the side of the road (Florida can be scary sometimes!) but I won't forget the laughs in this class and seeing you all break out of your shells as we went along. It was one of those experiences where I knew this was something I wanted to do for a long time.
